You ever wonder why "love" is so powerful?

Everything derives from it-- from the greatest songs by artists to the greatest literature by poets. 

How come it is so powerful? It overpowers everything else.. it can make a person feel like they're living in a crazy fantasy or shatter a person to pieces. What makes love so powerful? To be able to drive a sane person insane. To make them feel like they can conquer the world or jump off a building. Why.

While I see myself as a very strong-minded person, I see what love has done to me and how it can instantly make the person I am lose my mind, and it scares me. I just want to find that pure love, no complications, no stress, no drama. Unfortunately, like the rest of us.. it just that unattainable.

I want to focus on myself and build myself to be the better person, but it's hard when your heart and mind isn't on the same page.
